Usage: Spirulina is an incredible source of concentrated nutrients. It is 60 to 71% protein, making it the world's highest known source of protein. As a vegetable protein, it is easily digestible and contains all eight essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. Spirulina is the world's highest source of B-12 with high concentrations of vitamins A, B-1, B2, B-6, D, E, F, H, and K. Spirulina also provides many necessary minerals, trace elements, cell salts, and digestive enzymes. In addition, it offers an abundance of chlorophyll, phycocyainin, ferrodoxins, carotenoids and other pigments. It is also noted for one of the highest sources of Vitamin A as Betacarotene, a non-toxic source as Provitamin A. As one professor of Botany, who has studied spirulina says, "Spirulina is a great food! It's chock full of all the nutrients necessary to help maintain good health."
